Moss Cottage Cattery Manchester is privately owned and operated by a small team of animal lovers whose main interest is to make your cat happy and comfortable during their stay. We understand the importance of being able to leave your cat safe in the knowledge that they will be given the very best of care in luxury accommodation, enabling you to enjoy your holiday with complete peace of mind .

Cattery Services

All our Cat Houses are heated and have the benefit of cozy fluffy beds, scratch posts/cat trees and enrichment toys. All cats staying at Moss Cottage Cattery need to be fully vaccinated and up to date with annual boosters.

Cattery Accommodation

Our Cat Houses are all indoors, in our modern, state of the art UPVC building. Each cat house is fully insulated with its own full length upvc door. Our houses each have a spacious sleeping/viewing shelf where your cat/s can relax in their soft squidgy bed/s and watch the world go by and then run up and down the ladder if they so wish. We have cat trees/scratch posts/tunnels and enrichment toys to keep your cat/s entertained.

Our houses are roomy and each one has a thermostatically controlled radiator under the sleeping shelf to give your pet a nice, warm, cosy place to lie and of course stretch and obviously a lovely ambient temperature in their own special room.

We provide the original type flat litter trays but covered cat litter trays can be provided if required should your cat prefer one of these. Viewing windows are either side of the cat houses so that your cat can have a good look at what is going on around them and we do have two pens which are quieter for the more reserved cats.

Our prices are per day or part thereof and there is a reduction for cats from the same household sharing a cat house. Please note – Payment is on arrival unless full payment has been received in advance.

Our Prices 2023

- One cat per day costs £15 (£16.00 per day from 1 December 2023)
- Two cats sharing per day costs £28 (£30.00 per day from 1 December 2023)
- A non-refundable deposit (unless 1 month notice given) of £30 will be required at the time of booking except for our peak times when £50 will be required (Easter, July and August) and £100 will be required (December - Christmas and New Year).
- You will also need to upload an image of your pets up to date vaccination card showing all vaccinations and details when you complete the booking form.
- No Refunds or Credits will be given for early collection of pets

We can also offer discounts for long stays of 14 days or more. Please enquire at time of booking. Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day incur double fees

All prices above are inclusive of Boarding, Food, Heating and VAT. Specialist/ Prescription Diets will need to be provided by the customer (unfortunately no reduction in price is made).

All cats must be fully vaccinated. All vaccinations must be up to date and we will require proof of this in the form of a veterinary certificate.

We reserve the right to refuse any cat we suspect of having any contagious or infectious disease.

All veterinary recommended medication can be administered by our trained staff whilst your pet stays with us. If medication is required to be administered out of cattery hours (8am-6pm), then there will be a small fee of £2.00 charged per medication administered. However, should the medication during cattery hours required to be administered be time consuming or deemed difficult , then we reserve the right to make an additional small charge.
